William Poole is a dedicated Orthopaedic Surgeon at North Bristol NHS Trust, specialising in pelvic and acetabular trauma, complex hip arthroplasty, and orthoplastic lower limb reconstruction. He is committed to restoring mobility and improving patients’ quality of life.
He works closely with plastic surgeons for complex ortho-plastics cases that combine the specialties of orthopaedic and plastic surgery.
William trained at University College London, earning his medical degree and a BSc in Infectious Diseases and Immunology. His extensive training took him across the UK and Australia, where he completed advanced fellowships in pelvic trauma and complex hip surgery at the renowned Royal Adelaide Hospital.
His passion for helping others extends beyond his profession—he is involved in charity work in The Gambia, where he contributes his surgical expertise to underserved communities.
