Orthopaedic treatments and procedures

Here is a list of common orthopaedic treatments available at Cabot Clinic for sports injuries, trauma and degenerative conditions affecting the hip, knee, foot and ankle.

Hip replacement surgery
Hip replacement is a highly effective treatment that provides pain relief, improves patient mobility, and has a high satisfaction rate.
Total knee replacement
Knee replacement surgery aims to reduce pain and improve pateint mobility. Robotic-assisted surgery increases acuracy, accelerates rehabilitation, and promotes faster recovery.
Partial knee replacement
A partial knee replacement is a less invasive option than a total knee replacement and can deliver an excellent functional outcome when arthritis is limited to one part of the knee.
ACL reconstruction
ACL tears are a common injury in sports, but reconstructive surgery and meniscus repair can stabilise the knee and allow for a return to physical activity.
Meniscal cartilage
Meniscal tears may cause pain and mechanical symptoms and can be treated with repair or shaving, depending on the type of tear.
Knee osteotomy
Realignment of the leg can reduce forces passing through the knee, treating arthritis pain and delaying the need for joint replacement.
Knee arthritis pain
The management of arthritis has advanced with evidence-based non-surgical treatments like physiotherapy, braces, and injections to reduce pain.
Arthrosamid injection
A long-lasting hydrogel injection designed to relieve pain and improve function in patients with knee osteoarthritis, without surgery.
Patellofemoral arthritis
Arthritis of the knee cap can be treated in a variety of ways depending on the severity and type of arthritis.
Patella dislocation
Patella instability or dislocation can be managed by several surgical techniques aiming at restoring normal anatomy.
Foot & ankle surgery
Keyhole techniques used to treat a range of foot and ankle conditions, aiming to reduce pain and support recovery where appropriate.
