Book your Rapid Access Clinic™ appointment

Rapid Access Clinic™ appointments provide a convenient face-to-face consultation with a specialist orthopaedic surgeon in Bristol, designed to provide rapid clarity on the cause of your joint or musculoskeletal symptoms.

Your consultant will assess your symptoms, examine the affected area, and discuss the most appropriate next steps for your care.

Where clinically appropriate, imaging may be arranged following your consultation, including same-day MRI where available. Same-day imaging is not guaranteed and depends on clinical need and appointment availability.

Whether you may need physiotherapy, an injection, further imaging or surgery, your consultant will guide you towards the most appropriate treatment plan.

This approach combines specialist surgical expertise with timely access to appropriate imaging where required, helping to deliver clear and confident treatment recommendations.

This appointment is delivered in person at Cabot Clinic, Cribbs Causeway, Bristol, with free on-site parking and easy access to nearby shops and amenities. Any imaging, treatments, or additional consultations are charged separately.

Cabot Clinic pricing

At Cabot Clinic, we aim to make pricing as clear and straightforward as possible. The cost of your treatment will depend on the services you require, such as consultations, imaging, injections, surgery, rehabilitation, or ongoing follow-up care.

The cost of the initial consultation covers the consultation, assessment and clinical recommendations only; any scans, treatments or additional appointments are charged separately.

Where possible, we provide clear pricing information in advance so you can make informed decisions about your treatment. Our team can also help you navigate insurer requirements and answer any questions about the costs involved.

Self-paying
Many of our patients choose to self-pay for their care. We offer transparent pricing for consultations, assessments, imaging, procedures and surgical treatment, with no long-term commitments or membership fees.
Medical insurance
Cabot Clinic works with many major UK and international private medical insurers. Coverage varies between policies, and patients are responsible for obtaining any required authorisation from their insurer before treatment.

Treatment pathways

Every patient is different. Some patients require only a consultation and treatment recommendations, while others may require imaging, injections, physiotherapy, or surgery.

Your clinician will discuss the most appropriate options for your condition, along with any associated costs, before proceeding with treatment.

Faster access and reduced waiting times

At Cabot Clinic, we prioritise quick access to treatment. We aim to perform sports injury surgeries within one month and arthritis surgeries within two months. Instead of putting patients on long waiting lists, we emphasise the importance of timely pre-surgery physiotherapy to ensure the best possible outcomes.
