Plan & Scan™ is a convenient, virtual MDT assessment available nationwide across the UK, designed to give you fast clarity on the cause of your joint or musculoskeletal pain.
Your assessment is carried out by a specialist musculoskeletal specialist and reviewed by a consultant orthopaedic surgeon as part of our multidisciplinary team, ensuring you receive joined-up clinical expertise from the outset.
Where required, we can arrange access to nationwide imaging (MRI, ultrasound or X-ray) to support a clear diagnosis and personalised treatment plan.
Whether you need physiotherapy, an injection, further imaging or surgery, our multidisciplinary team will guide you towards the most appropriate next step.
This collaborative approach combines clinical expertise with targeted imaging where required, helping to deliver clear and accurate treatment recommendations.
This assessment is available nationwide as a virtual MDT service from £99. Any imaging recommended during your pathway is charged separately.
How the Plan & Scan™ assessment works
The Plan & Scan™ assessment gives you access to specialist orthopaedic advice, advanced diagnostics and a personalised treatment recommendation — helping you understand your condition and the most appropriate next steps.

Select the appointment that best matches the area of pain or concern you would like assessed and complete your booking. Once your payment has been received and your appointment is confirmed, we’ll email you a link to your online clinical questionnaire.
Complete your online clinical questionnaire
Complete the questionnaire before your appointment, providing details about your symptoms, medical history and the concerns you would like to discuss. This information helps our clinical team prepare for your assessment.
Virtual orthopaedic consultation
You’ll have a virtual consultation with a specialist consultant orthopaedic surgeon who will assess your symptoms, discuss your concerns and advise on the most appropriate pathway for diagnosis and treatment.
Imaging (if required)
Following your assessment, you’ll receive a written summary outlining your likely diagnosis and recommended next steps, including any further investigation, treatment options or rehabilitation.
Imaging is charged separately and is available from:

Multidisciplinary team (MDT) review
Where appropriate, your case will be reviewed by our specialist team, including consultant orthopaedic surgeons, musculoskeletal radiologists and specialist physiotherapists. This collaborative approach helps ensure an accurate diagnosis and personalised treatment recommendations.
Personalised clinical outcome
Following your assessment, you’ll receive a written summary outlining your likely diagnosis and recommended next steps, including any further investigation, treatment options or rehabilitation.

Plan & Scan™ pricing
We believe healthcare pricing should be clear and transparent from the outset. The Plan & Scan™ MDT Assessment is available from £99 and provides an accessible first step towards understanding your condition and the most appropriate treatment options.
The £99 fee covers the assessment and multidisciplinary team (MDT) review only. If further investigations or treatment are recommended, such as imaging, physiotherapy, injections, specialist consultations, or surgery, any associated costs will be discussed with you in advance and charged separately.
Where possible, we provide clear pricing information so you can make informed decisions about your care. Our team can also help you navigate insurer requirements and answer any questions about the costs involved.
Treatment pathways
Following your assessment, you will receive a personalised report and recommendation letter outlining the findings and next steps. This can be shared with your GP, physiotherapist, insurer, or any healthcare professional involved in your care.
Some patients choose to follow the recommendations independently, while others prefer support in accessing treatment. If required, we can refer you directly to a trusted network of specialists and healthcare providers to help you progress your care.
