Peter Robinson is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in minimally invasive (keyhole) foot and ankle surgery. He trained in the South West of England and completed advanced fellowships in Sydney and Bristol, focusing on complex reconstruction and the latest surgical techniques.

Appointed as a Consultant at the Avon Orthopaedic Centre in 2019, he treats a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including bunions, arthritis, deformities, sports injuries, and complex trauma. He is nationally recognised for his expertise in minimally invasive surgery, particularly bunion correction, lesser toe correction, ankle arthroscopy, and ligament reconstruction. He performs these procedures at Southmead Hospital, Spire Bristol, and Nuffield Health Hospital.

Peter is a key member of the South West Ankle Arthritis Network and regularly performs total ankle replacements and arthroscopic ankle fusions. He also contributes to the regional foot and ankle trauma service and works closely with a multidisciplinary team to manage complex injuries.

He is actively involved in medical education, serving as the orthopaedic educational lead at Southmead Hospital and as an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Bristol. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and presents his work at national and international conferences.
